RULES

• Helmet required

• Fire suit required

• Seatbelt required

• Full firewall

• Turbo cars need X bolts in exhaust

• Battery disconnect switch required

• No hub caps

• No aluminum wheels

• No wheel weights

Scoring System

• Instant Smoke – 10 pts

• Tip-In Hype – 30 pts

• Constant Smoke – 20 pts

• Driver Skill – 30 pts

• Crowd Hype – 10 pts

Deductions

• Tires not blown – -5 each tire

• Wall taps are fine; wall hits – -10 (changes direction of the car)

• Fire that stops the run – DQ

• Tire fires will hurt smoke score

• Reversing before blowing tires – DQ (reversing after blown tires is OK)
